[dropcap]C[/dropcap]oscharis Jaguar Land Rover joined the British High Commissioner, Paul Arkwright, in hosting an exclusive VIP premiere of the new James Bond film, SPECTRE, which was released this month.
The screening was preceded by a glitzy event, with guests taking to a specially created ‘green carpet’.
SPECTRE is Bonds twenty-fourth cinematic adventure, and has been hailed the most expensive 007 film to date, costing £200 million ($300 million). Mr Arkright says: “James Bond is an icon of British style, adventure and culture. The new film embodies Britain at its very best – it was a roller-coaster ride of excitement from start to finish and is set to delight cinema goers with its high octane action scenes.
Mr Arkwright adds: “Tonight’s event was a great success. Nigeria is just one of 60 countries worldwide taking part in our global Bond is GREAT campaign, which shows what makes Britain GREAT and aims to encourage people to visit, do business, invest and study in the UK. Our profound thanks go to our partners in hosting this event: Coscharis Jaguar Land Rover, Heineken, British Council and of course Silverbird Film Distribution.”
According to Cosmas Jnr. Maduka, Executive Director, Coscharis, “The screening was a huge success and Jaguar Land Rover’s co-sponsoring the event was a worthwhile endeavour, given the British heritage on display which always reflects capability and luxury at its finest by far”.
The enthralling capability and super bullet resistance of the Range Rover in the film highlights the story of the all new Range Rover Sentinel, which is the first armoured vehicle manufactured on the Range Rover assembly line in Solihull and refinished as an armoured vehicle within JLR’s secure state-of-the-Special Vehicle Operations facility in Coventry.
Coscharis Motors has the sole franchise for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in Nigeria and offers a wide after sales network in Nigeria.
